Located in the southeastern New England town of Dartmouth, Massachusetts, Avant Gardens is a
specialty nursery devoted to serious gardeners and collectors of fine and rare plants. Our
focus is to grow a varied selection of uncommon plants, including annuals and tender perennials,
hardy perennials, alpines and woody plants.

If you’re in southeastern Massachusetts and would like to come visit, call to check on our
seasonal hours. We have established some delightful gardens around the 18th century
farmhouse where we live and work. The area under the pergola is a nice place to sit and
enjoy our varied container plantings. Our mixed borders artisitically combine the unusual
trees, shrubs, perennials and annuals that we sell at our nursery.
